How Bazucar® Ingredients Function* |
| |
|
Agaricus
blazeii: |
A
mushroom extract appears to regulate the
immune system, resulting in decreased
immune-
mediated damage from high glucose levels
and also improving resistance to
infection. |

Alpha lipoic acid: |
A potent antioxidant is found in all
cells in low amount, and is decreased in
DM patients.
Oxidative stress is responsible for many
of the complications of DM, and this

| Study
Results |

| A trial study
conducted by Dr. Daryl See at the Center for
Advanced Medicine in California concluded that
Bazucar® was successful in lowering blood sugar
levels and decrease the need for medication. |
| |
Twenty
patients with poorly controlled Type 2 diabetes
on either insulin or an oral hypoglycemic agent
were enrolled. Bazucar®, a combination of
herbs and orthomolecular compounds, was
administered
at one tablet three times daily for 30 days with
a follow-up visit at 60 days. |
| |
| Patients with
blood sugars that fell during the study were
instructed to decrease their diabetic medication
as tolerated. |
| |
| The average
fasting blood sugar at day 0 was 242.8 +/-
45.6mg/dl. By the end of 60 days, it was
significantly decreased to 117.9 +/- 41.3mg/dl
(p<0.01). |
| |
| Of the nine
patients on insulin, eight were able to
significantly reduce their insulin use.
Nine of the eleven subjects on oral hypoglycemic
were able to tolerate a significant decrease in
their medication. No side effects were reported. |
